There is an old saying.........
"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift, that's why they call it the present."
It has been 10 days since my last post. In those 10 days I have come to appreciate the gift that is each new day. Eight days ago our 35 year old son was hit by a car while he was running. I won't give details here, just suffice it to say that it is truly a miracle that this wonderful man is still alive and is not paralyzed, brain damaged, or even severely scarred on his face.
But, he will have to have surgery on his leg and has many stitches and bruises and cuts. Every part of his body has pain.
We rejoice and give thanks to our Creator every morning that our son is with us. It is a gift.
Each of us are given a gift every morning of one more day to live and breathe and love and grow. Who will we affect? Who's life will be better because we step out of our comfort zone and share our love and knowledge with them?
Today is a gift. Are we grateful?
