Lesson from the pot and pan salesman

Zig Zigler tells the story of working with a pot and pan salesman who just couldn't seem to make sales. Zig was assigned to go over his presentation with him. He was flawless. But as he went out and did his presentation in front of potential customers no one wanted to buy.

Zig couldn't understand the problem. Then he had an idea. He told the salesman he needed to throw in some personal stories about how using these pans had made a difference in his cooking. The man just looked at him and finally admitted he did not own a set of the pans.

Why? was the obvious question.

"Well, they are just too expensive for someone like me."

Ah, now we know why he couldn't make a sale. He did not see the benefits applying to "someone like him." The benefits were only for people with more money. Of course, the vast majority of people he was talking to were people just like him. So from the beginning he did not expect that they would buy because he knew that the pots were too expensive.

Do you know the worth of your products? Do you know that the ingredients are the finest available and come from all over the world? Do you know that they are combined in just the right formulas to majorly impact your health? Have you calculated the potential savings in groceries, junk food, and doctor bills? Are your life insurance premiums lower because your health is better?

Are our products expensive? No way. Not only do they add years to your life, they add life to your years. They would be worth it even if there was no way provided to pay for them outside of your household budget. Now, the best news of all is that for a lot of people, they are paid for from their commissions from sharing the products!

Is that a great deal or what!!
