Today Pastor Kevin (PK) talks about how to have an impact with our communication. There are five levels of communication: 1. cliches 2. facts 3. feelings 4. dreams and goals 5. gentle correction based on what we know about their feelings and dreams and goals.
Too often we are stuck in level one and level two, which are not very effective. It is only when we move on to levels three and four that there is heart to heart communication. Occasionally there is a time when level five is needed. Because you have laid the ground work with levels 3 and 4 you can effectively do level 5.
