PS to last post Are you tuned to WIIFM?

I've been thinking about my last post about being a promoter. This is the bottom line. You need to figure out what are the benefits for the person you are promoting to. For example, if they buy the 10 pack of the new magazine, what benefit will it be to them? That's what you tell them to promote buying the magazine.

This should be how we are thinking all the time anyway. If someone joins your business you have most likely told them why it would be of benefit to them to do so. You've heard it said before, but it bares repeating. Everyone is listening to one radio station. It is WIIFM-- what's in it for me.

That's what everyone wants to know. Whether we are promoting joining our business, or promoting an event it is still the bottom line question. IF you are thinking about what's in it for YOU for them to do something, that will come across.

Remember, WIIFM-- the most popular radio station anywhere you go.
